SMILES FOR LIFE – DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 2014
In March of 2014, eight Harris Dental team members left Phoenix for the Dominican Republic, to serve on a nine day dental mission. They joined other dental teams in the Dominican Republic to form a team of more than 50 volunteers. Their intention for this expedition, was to serve others less fortunate and in need of dental care. Instead, our team received so much more than they ever dreamed of giving. They traveled to different communities every day and witnessed more poverty than most of us will ever see in our lifetime. They encountered, cared for and created lasting friendships with the most compassionate and generous people. This journey was an unforgettable experience that they will be forever grateful for. It is our pleasure to share some of their moments through this slide show.
